Year 8 – Be Involved
School isn’t confined to our classroom walls. There is so much that our students can engage with at Unity that build relationships, character and meaningful life skills.
As we start to prepare for the Year 8 city camp experience in Week 5 Term 4, we reflect on the year that’s been and the opportunities students have chosen to engage with.
Our Knockout Sport teams have experienced more success than ever before with hardworking committed team members and dedicated staff. Our Ag team showcased their hard work from many trainings at the recent Royal Adelaide Show. Children’s books have been written and shared with young people in our community. Our Pedal Prix teams are gearing up for their epic 24 hour journey in Murray Bridge. The final paperwork for a 2023 musical has almost been signed. These are just some of the wide variety of experiences and opportunities our students are involved in.
As we approach Term 4 and Step Up for 2023, we reflect on all that we have achieved, but more importantly, how can we make our last year of Middle School the best year yet? How can we involve ourselves and immerse ourselves in the opportunities that surround us in the community? Will I join a team, become a Year 9 Ambassador, push beyond my comfort zone and become a risk taker? The answer is yes.
We encourage you to consider how you can get involved and make your time at school as memorable, engaging and fruitful as possible.
