Congratulations to Piper Wegener who was a recipient of the 2023 Mannum Lions Youth Achievement Award on Australia Day this year.
MILES RIGNEY (YEAR 10)
We congratulate Miles Rigney on being selected SAASTA Basketball Academy. The SAASTA specialist academies are open to Aboriginal students in years 10, 11 and 12. Miles will attend the academy one day a week for the duration of the year where he will get the chance to focus on his chosen sport of basketball as well as develop skills and understanding of leadership, culture, being a role model and career aspirations. Miles will be gaining SACE credits for the work that he is doing in this program. Well done Miles on this achievement.
