In accordance with the Schools Assistance Act 2008, Unity College is required annually to make publicly available to the parent community various aspects of College performance for the preceding school year.
2023 School Performance Report
2023 YEAR 12 RESULTS
We congratulate our Year 12 students on their 2023 SACE results. We are thankful for the people they have become and for the gifts and talents they have brought to Unity College in both academic and community pursuits.
Congratulations to Sienna Daniell who was named DUX with an ATAR of 97.55 and received a Merit 1 in Psychology and a Governor's Commendation - an extraordinary effort! We also congratulate Baxter Gierus-Heintze, Runner-Up DUX with an ATAR of 91.15.
SACE Results Summary
- 100% of students received their SACE
- Three students achieved an ATAR above 90
- 62% of all grades achieved were A and B grades
VET in SACE Summary
- 70% of the graduating cohort completed VET in the SACE, achieving a VET qualification of Certificate II or higher.
- 11 students completed their SACE through a School-Based Apprenticeship.
- 5 students received Credits for Recognition of Aboriginal Cultural Knowledge and Learning.
The number of Unity students using a combination of both VET and SACE pathways grew from 30% of students in 2021, to 48% in 2023 (compared to the state average of 20%), reflecting Unity’s ‘Students First’ ethos by catering for individual career pathways, industry demand and future aspirations. Courses completed include:
- Certificate III: Early Childhood Education and Care, Rural Operations, Christian Ministry and Theology (VetaMorphus), Fitness, Individual Support
- Certificate II: Engineering Pathways
- SBAT: Carpentry, Electrical, Brick Laying, Engineering
Future Pathways
- 93% of eligible students received university offers in South Australia
- Eligible students received offers for university entrance in the following areas:
