Unity College provides assistance to enable students to make informed choices and a smooth transition from Senior School into tertiary studies, employment or community enterprises.
Various programs and subjects assist students to plan their future beyond school with careers information and guidance a priority throughout the Senior School years.

Students commence PLP in Year 10 to assist them in identifying goals and how to achieve them through school and after finishing the SACE. The PLP encourages students to review their strengths and areas they need to work on including literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING (VET)
VET courses provide valuable opportunities for students wishing to pursue various trades by offering practical and industry specific learning alternatives.
CAREERS INFORMATION AND GUIDANCE
The Careers Cousellor meets with all Year 12 students to assist with their transition from school into further study or the workforce.
Workplace Practices is an optional subject at Year 11 and Year 12 where students are able to participate in 25-30 hours of Vocational Learning and have it contribute towards their SACE.
