The 5-4-3-2-1 exercise is a great technique the whole family can use. Here’s how:
Take a deep belly breath to begin, and notice the following things:
- Five things you can see.
- Four things that you can feel
- Three things you can hear
- Two things you can smell
- One thing you can taste
Take another deep belly breath to end.
